One of my favorite blogs, books, groups, communities – whatever your choice word is – that I visit daily is Shutter Sisters. Each day it’s part inspiration, part homework, part beauty. Today is no exception. One Word Project is a community project in which each month gets a word and the community finds photographic moments that best describes that one word to them.

Today here is my photo that best describes ‘Life: As Is’ to me. It’s nothing special on the outside but to me it is. It’s my middle child laughing and being silly. He has squinted eyes and the tiniest of boogies in his nose (which was more noticeable in other shots), however, just looking at the photo I can hear him laughing.
